The Sierra Nevada mountain range, sometimes referred to by the town of Pradollano, is located in Southern Spain. Situated in the province of Granada, approximately 32 kilometers (20 miles) from the city of Granada and about 160 kilometers (100 miles) from the Mediterranean coast. Making this a unique skiing destination, one minute you can be on the slopes, the next on the sand!
Boasting a wide range of slopes suitable for all levels of skiers and snowboarders, including beginners, intermediates, and advanced riders. Offering 124 ski runs, with a combined length of over 106 kilometers (65 miles), serviced by 21 lifts, including several high-speed chairlifts.
The skiing and snowboarding season in Sierra Nevada typically runs from late November to early May, depending on conditions. The resort’s altitude ranges from 2,100 meters (6,900 feet) to 3,300 meters (10,800 feet), with average of 5 meters (16 feet) of snowfall annually.
Sierra Nevada Ski Resort also offers a range of off-piste activities, including snowshoeing, sledding, ice skating, and paragliding. Lastly, the resort offers several on-site amenities, including restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops.
