Andorra ski resorts and the Andorra skiing focuses around 2 key areas, the Grandvalira ski area and the Vallnord ski area. The Grandvalira area is much larger, one of the largest in Europe. With a huge variety of piste levels for all abilities, children’s activities, snow parks and even World Cup slops.

Vallnord is a much smaller area than Grandvalira, containing Pal Arinsal and La Massana. Here you’ll find 63 kilometres of marked runs serviced by 30 lifts. Vallnord Pal-Arinsal has a nice variety of slopes for all abilities, but focus is very much on families, beginners, and those developing their skills.

Easiest access to Andorra via airports are Barcelona (BCN) or Toulouse (TLS). Although you can access via Lleida–Alguaire Airport too, albeit a much smaller airport than the other two.

The Andorran ski pistes also have good covering off snowmaking machines, topping up if there’s any sporadic snowfall. Warmer weather in Andorra can found later in the season around March, where you can easily expect to see late single digits temperatures or even low teens.

Ski resorts in Andorra have modern lift systems therefore a high level of reliability. Featuring a combination of chairlifts, gondolas, and surface lifts, provide easy access to various parts of the mountains. The lift infrastructure is designed to significantly reduce wait times and maximise time spent on the Andorran mountain.

Andorra accommodation is divided in two. Do you stay near the Andorra ski slopes, or do you stay in the capital – Andorra la Vella.

The accommodation varies around the ski resorts, but mostly apartments and hotels to cater for tourists so you won’t find you’re ever that far from their modern ski lifts. Head to Pas de la Casa for the busiest and most lively resort.
