Accommodation in Alpe d’Huez
The Alpe d’Huez ski resort encapsulates seven towns all varying in size and altitude. All with access to the Alpe d’Huez piste one way or another and many offering the convenience of ski-in ski-out.
Going through the villages, Vaujany sits at 1,250m – the lowest of the seven. Next up is Oz En Oisans at 1,350m. The main resort access road consist of Villard Reculas at 1,500m & Huez at 1,500m. Finally, at 1,860m you have Alpe d’Huez, the much smaller Maronne at 1,450 and at 1,600m Auris En Oisans.
Most of the accommodation and thus, the most expensive ski resort is Alpe d’Huez. However, there are plenty of options in this ski area from large ski resort hotels offering half board options, to smaller self-catering apartments and chalet options.
