Panorama Ski Map
The Panorama ski map and resort, often called Panorama Ski Resort, is a popular Canadian ski destination. Located in British Columbia’s Purcell Mountains, near the village of Invermere in the Columbia Valley.
Compared to famous Banff-area resorts, Panorama feels quieter and more relaxed, with a strong “local mountain” atmosphere and expansive alpine views. However, with over 100km of pisted runs to explore and elevations ranging from approximately 1,150m to 2,365m there’s enough to explore.
The piste map of Panorama is best suited for intermediates and advanced. On the front side, easier runs can be found towards the base as well as towards the Sun Bowl. Alternatively you have Taynton Bowl. A legendary hike-to area for advanced and expert skiers. The runs feature steep chutes, bowls, cliffs, and technical lines. Extremely challenging terrain.
Unlike Lake Louise, Panorama features a true ski-in ski-out village. Providing lodging and accommodation slopeside, plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes as well as ski schools and rental shops. Not forgetting one of Canada’s largest outdoor slope-side hot pools.
