Vail Ski Map

The Vail piste map and resort is located in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. One of the largest and most famous ski destinations in North America, alongside Park City in Utah, Big Sky in Montana and Deer Valley in Salt Lake City for instance.

Situated about 100 miles west of Denver, Vail serves elevations of around 2,400 metres at the base to over 3,500 metres at the summit. This elevations offers particularly consistent snow throughout the season, as well as some spectacular views.

Over 5,300 acres of skiable terrain and upwards of 230 kilometres of skiing to explore, all divided into three main sections: Front Side, Back Bowls, and Blue Sky Basin.

Accommodation in Vail

The village at Vail is a charming, pedestrian-friendly alpine town, inspired by European architecture. Expect cobblestone streets, boutique shops, luxury hotels, and fine dining. Vail accommodation offers either the pedestrian‑friendly Vail Village or Lionshead Village, which are both near lifts and amenities. Alternatively, slightly farther out at East Vail and West Vail, prices here could be lower so worth exploring.
