Copper Mountain Ski Map
The Copper Mountain ski map and resort is located the heart of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. Known for its naturally divided terrain, relaxed village atmosphere and excellent snow conditions. Approximately 75 miles west of Denver.
Standing out for its unique, naturally organized mountain layout, the Copper Mountain slopes are arranged from west to east by difficulty level. Beginners on the west side, intermediates in the centre and advanced terrain toward the east and upper bowls. Fortunately, this natural separation makes the resort exceptionally easy to navigate and helps prevent terrain crowding.
Over 120 kilometres of piste to explore and impressive heights, ranging from just shy over 3,000 metres to around 3,800 metres. This height, combined with north facing slopes allow for Copper Mountain to enjoy reliable, dry Colorado powder throughout the season.
Within the village, Copper Mountain’s base town is split into three villages. West Village, beginner friendly, quiet and ski-school oriented. Centre Village, seen as the heart of the resort with restaurants, bars, après-ski, shops and many lifts. Lastly, the East Village, close to advanced lifts like Super Bee, quieter and great for serious skiers.
Other than skiing or snowboarding in Copper Mountain, visitors can also enjoy ice skating, tubing, snowshoeing trails, snowmobiling and plenty of live music and seasonal events throughout winter.
