Palisades Tahoe

Palisades Tahoe Ski Map

The Palisades Tahoe resort, located in the Lake Tahoe region of California, is one of the most well known and expansive ski resorts in the United States. Formerly known as Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, in 2021 the resort rebranded to reflect its modern identity but preserving its Olympic heritage. Having hosted the 1960 Winter Olympics.

The resort of Palisades Tahoe combines two major ski areas, Palisades, formerly Squaw Valley, and Alpine Meadows, both connected by a base-to-base gondola. This creates a huge snow area to explore, over 6,000 acres of skiable terrain, around 200 kilometres of piste and a vertical drop of almost 1,000 metres. Combined, forming one of the largest ski resorts in America.
