Tatranska Lomnica, the Slovakian ski resort also seen as Tatranská Lomnica is part of the Tatra National Park. Sitting beneath the imposing Lomnický Peak and one of the tallest mountains in Slovakia, providing the entire resort a spectacular backdrop.
The Tatranska Lomnica provides just under 12km of skiing and snowboarding with 9 lifts transporting you around the slopes. Tatranska Lomnica is the highest ski resort in Slovakia reaching skiing heights of 2,190m and also a viewing gallery at 2,634m. The piste is a similar size to Donovaly (Park Snow) and you’ll also notice on the Tatranska Lomnica piste map below there are a few runs and lifts taking you up the Hrebienok piste.
Modern lift systems that include high-speed chairlifts and a gondola connecting the village to the mid-station provide easy access to many areas. The iconic cable car to Lomnický Peak is another memorable experience, it doesn’t provide ski access from the summit. However it offers breath taking panoramic views that are a highlight for visitors.
