Straja Ski Map

The Straja ski map and resort is located in Hunedoara County in the Vâlcan Mountains of the Southern Carpathians, Romania. Towards the town of Lupeni in the Jiu Valley. Straja piste map is one of Romania’s fastest-growing alpine areas. Known for its long slopes, night skiing, and scenic mountain setting.

Providing over 20 km of groomed pistes spread across multiple runs that provide suitability for beginners, intermediates and more challenging sections too. Additionally, the Straja Slope (also called Straja Strand) is reported as Romania’s longest ski run at around 8 km.

Similar to many European ski resorts the Romania ski seasons often runs from mid-December through to late March, and sometimes into early April. This depends on temperatures and snowfall. Furthermore, snow cannons can support earlier in the season and throughout to supplement natural snow.

Alpine services such as ski rentals, lessons, and occasional events are available, particularly around the holidays and peak season. Not forgetting the opportunity of night skiing when available throughout the season.
