Kvitfjell Ski Map

The Kvitfjell ski map and resort is one of Norway’s premier alpine resorts. Perhaps best known for its World Cup race slopes, excellent grooming, and family-friendly ski-in/ski-out layout. The ski resort of Kvitfjell is located around 45 minutes north of Lillehammer and was originally developed for the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer,

On the Kvitfjell piste you’ll find plenty available for skiers and snowboarders alike, with 29km of slopes available and 11 lifts to transport, reaching heights of just over 1,000m. Beginners can explore gentle green and blue runs, especially on the west side. Intermediates can find long, wide, beautifully groomed pistes. Whereas advanced riders can enjoy steep Olympic downhill and super-G courses.

Also on the Kvitfjell piste you’ll be able to explore a terrain park, ski school, cross-country skiing, children’s slopes, plenty of restaurants and even some tricky black runs to test your nerves and ability on.

Accommodation in Kvitfjell


With Kvitfjell there’s no single traditional village centre. With accommodation is spread along the mountain, offering excellent ski-in and ski-out access. Typically seen as calm, uncrowded, and a relaxed atmosphere. Less lively than Hemsedal, with a healthy focus on skiing and comfort.

Kvitfjell accommodation is mostly cabins (hytter) and apartments, occasional hotel and ski-in and ski-out lodges. Many of which include self-catering kitchens, fireplaces and even private saunas.
