Cortina d’Ampezzo

Cortina d’Ampezzo Ski Map

The Cortina d’Ampezzo piste map and ski resort is one of Italy’s most famous and glamorous ski resorts. Set high in the Dolomites of north eastern Italy, in the Veneto region. Often called “La Regina delle Dolomiti” (The Queen of the Dolomites). Cortina d’Ampezzo combines world-class skiing with dramatic alpine scenery, elegant town life, and a long sporting heritage. Often referred to as simple the Cortina ski map.

Part of the Dolomiti Superski network, giving access to over 1,200 km of pistes, an extraordinary amount of piste available. Local terrain is as well extremely impressive, around 120 km of slopes, spread across areas like Tofana, Faloria–Cristallo, and Lagazuoi. Best suited to those with perhaps more skill and experience than beginner. Therefore intermediate and advanced skiers will make the most out of the long, scenic reds and challenging blacks.

Cortina has a deep sporting pedigree. Having hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics, a regular stop on the Alpine Ski World Cup and most recently being a co-host of the 2026 Winter Olympics with Milan.

Known for upscale but relaxed après-ski rather than wild partying. You can find elegant wine bars, cocktail lounges, and refined mountain huts. Fantastic Italian cuisine, from Michelin-listed dining to local diners serving local Ampezzo dishes. All of this attracts a fashionable crowd of Italians, Europeans, and international visitors.
