Gudauri Ski Map
The Gudauri ski map and resort is Georgia’s largest and most famous ski resort. Located in the Greater Caucasus Mountains and around 120 kilometres north of Tbilisi, along the scenic Georgian Military Highway. Sitting high above the tree line, it’s known for wide open terrain, deep snow, and a relaxed, modern mountain atmosphere.
Lying at around 2,200 metres in altitude, with lifts reaching up to about 3,300 metres gives Gudauri a long and reliable snow season, typically December to April. Furthermore offering over 70 kilometres of marked pistes, mainly suited to intermediate skiers, with a good mix of blues and reds, plus some steeper black runs. The Gudauri piste map offers something extensive where skiing facilities are somewhat lacking in the world.
Off-piste and freeride skiing are Gudauri’s main piste map attraction. The resort is famous for wide, avalanche controlled bowls and natural terrain, making it a hotspot for powder lovers. Not forgetting heli-skiing being a major draw, with access to vast, remote Caucasus terrain that rivals top destinations worldwide.
A purpose built mountain resort, spread along a ridge rather than clustered around a historic centre. Giving an atmosphere comprised of international and youthful individuals. Attracting skiers and snowboarders from Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
