Flaine Ski Map
The Flaine ski map and resort finds itself in the Le Grand Massif. Sitting alongside Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoëns and Sixt. Offering open bowls to explore, plenty of variety with a few green runs, but plenty of blues, reds and the odd black thrown in.
The whole Flaine piste map and Grand Massif provide well over 250km of slopes, over 60 ski lifts with heights ranging up to almost 2,500m. Which mean even if the lack of snow at lower levels, you definitely have elevation to explore. But, combine this with their snow making facilities means snow coverage on the piste map of Flaine and surrounding towns is excellent.
The Flaine ski resort itself provides many amenities for families too, bowling, cinema, climbing wall, swimming pool and more. Often seen by many to be a great family resort, with easy access to slopes, plenty of accommodation including hotels and self-catering accommodation, French bakeries, supermarkets and more. Not to mention Flaine is a short distance from Geneva airport, easily driveable and contains plenty of parking.

Accommodation in Flaine
Being the highest resort in Le Grand Massif, you would expect that means you’ll be paying a slight premium over other resorts in the area. However, this has the obvious benefit of being in and amongst the best skiing, easy access to the slopes and the higher ski runs, subsequently being more snow sure.
Accommodation in Flaine isn’t as beautiful as some of it’s peers in France, but definitely not as bad as some of the purpose built resorts. This built up nature does have its benefits, plenty of accommodation and amenities to match.
Some of the Flaine accommodation you may want to check out include the self catering 5 star and well respected CGH Résidence Boutique Le Centaure or the equally as impressive Premium Residence Les Terrasses d’Helios.
Alternatively, you have the more budget friendly options such as Le Panoramic that sits right on the slopes. Or, Les Terrasses de Véret Residences just a stones through from the slopes Both excellent self catering options again.
Hotel Club MMV Le Flaine provide catered options, as do RockyPop Flaine Hotel. Both great options and only shorts walks from the ski slopes of Flaine again.
