Tignes Ski Map
The Tignes piste map and resort, is a popular ski resort located in the Tarentaise Valley, in the Savoie department of the French Alps. Situated at a relatively high altitude of 2,100 meters and known for its extensive piste and high-altitude skiing.
Tignes offers a vast and varied ski area which forms part of the larger Espace Killy ski domain. Sharing the area with the neighbouring resort of Val d’Isère. With over 300 kilometres in the overall Tignes ski resort, the area cater for all abilities of skiers and snowboarders. Boasting a diverse range of runs, from gentle beginner slopes to challenging off-piste areas and thrilling freestyle parks.
One of the major advantages of Tignes ski map is its high altitude. Providing excellent snow conditions throughout the ski season. Not to forget the resort’s highest peak, Grande Motte, reaches an elevation of 3,456 meters, providing access to glacier skiing even in the spring and summer months.

Tignes Resort Towns
As opposed to a single village, Tignes resort is made up of several purpose-built areas.
- Tignes Le Lac – the main hub of the Tignes map piste. Lively and convenient all built around a frozen lake in winter, hence Le Lac
- Val Claret – the highest village within the Tignes map piste. Very much ski-in and ski-out. Popular with advanced skiers and après-ski
- Tignes 1800 (Les Boisses) – Typically quieter and provides more of traditional alpine feel
- Les Brévières – lowest village within the Tignes map piste, a charming and village-like with wooden chalets
