Tignes is a popular ski resort located in the Tarentaise Valley, in the Savoie department of the French Alps. Situated at a relatively high altitude of 2,100 meters and known for its extensive piste and high-altitude skiing.

Tignes offers a vast and varied ski area which forms part of the larger Espace Killy ski domain. Sharing the area with the neighbouring resort of Val d’Isère.
