Yllas Ski Map
Ylläs (Yllas) is the largest ski resort in Finland, located 115km north of the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland
There are 53km of piste to explore with the Lappish villages of Ylläsjärvi and Äkäslompolo located on opposing sides of the Yllas piste. In each village you’ll find some nice places to each local and international cuisine, with the nightlife somewhat lacking, however that comes to be expected with Yllas being a more family friendly ski resort.
The runs available are catered more to novices and those learning. The majority of Yllas ski runs are Blue and Red, followed by a few Green and Black runs.
Similarly to Levi, if skiing gets too much or you’re having a lazy day there are plenty of other activities to keep you busy; Dog sledding, Ice fishing, Reindeer safari, Snowmobiling / skidooing, of course the Northern Lights and more!
