Kicking Horse

Kicking Horse Ski Map

The Kicking Horse ski map and mountain resort is located in Golden, British Columbia. One of Canada’s most dramatic and thrilling ski destinations. Set in the Purcell Mountains near the Canadian Rockies, it’s famous for its steep slopes, deep powder and rugged terrain. For expert skiers and snowboarders, it’s often considered one of the most exciting resorts in North America.

Kicking Horse receives around 7.5 metres of snow per year, much of it the light, dry “champagne powder” that the region is famous for. Additionally, relatively high elevations of over 1,000 to near 2,500 metres and north facing slopes preserve snow quality late into the season.

Having developed a reputation as one of the best freeride mountains in North America, Kicking Horse isn’t for the faint of heart. Hosting the Freeride World Tour, huge verticals drops and notable freeride zones including: Super Bowl, Fuez Bowl, Redemption Ridge and Terminator Ridge – T1 and T2, make it an experts paradise.
