Jahorina Ski Map
Fortunate enough to be Bosnia’s largest ski resort, the Jahorina piste provides a good variety of runs available and easy access from the capital of Bosnia, Sarajevo. Also known as the Jahorina Oympic Centre ski area provides 52 kilometres of slopes to explore and 17 lifts. Elevations range from 1,300 metres to 1,890 metres.
The Oympic Centre Jahorina name was taken due to the Sarajevo Winter Olympics in 1984 hosting the Women’s alpine competitions.
Besides snowboarding and skiing in Jahorina there’s night skiing, cross country trails and additional sports facilities in the town itself, as well as plenty of bars and restaurants. Prices are much lower than France, Italy and other popular European ski resorts with lift passes well below £200 for an adult.
