Alpbach Ski Map

The Alpbach ski map and resort is located in the Tirol region of western Austria. Known as one of the most charming and picturesque ski destinations in the Alps. Often called “Austria’s most beautiful village,” Alpbach combines traditional wooden chalet architecture, peaceful rural scenery, and a friendly, authentic atmosphere with access to a modern and varied ski area.

Forming part of the much larger Austrian ski resort of Ski Juwel – Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau, the Alpbach ski resort offers over 100 kilometres of piste to explore, over 45 lifts and a great mix of easy, intermediate and difficult runs.

Alpbach’s village is one of its biggest charms. Strict building regulations ensure that all structures follow traditional Tyrolean wooden chalet style, making the town look elegant, warm, giving off a true alpine feel. Unlike some busier Austrian resorts, Alpbach is peaceful and retains a cosy, small-village feel.

There is a modest après-ski scene. Far more relaxed and friendly than wild. Centred around mountain huts, hotel bars and local restaurants.

Conveniently located about 50 minutes from Innsbruck Airport, makes Alpbach one of Austria’s more accessible ski destinations. Its good location and good value (for Austria) make it popular among families and couples looking for a less crowded alternative to major resorts like Kitzbühel or St. Anton.
