Niederau forms part of the much larger Austrian ski resort of Ski Juwel – Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau. That offers over 100km of piste to explore, over 45 lifts and a great mix of easy, intermediate and difficult runs.

Often seen as a charming, traditional ski resort village in the Wildschönau Valley of the Austrian Tyrol, known for its friendly atmosphere, accessible slopes and classic Alpine character.

Sitting at around 830 metres above sea level, Niederau forms part of the much larger Austrian ski resort of Ski Juwel area means an interconnected network including Oberau, Auffach and Alpbach, offering extensive skiing with shared ski passes and free ski buses connecting the villages.

Niederau’s ski map alone has around 25 kilometres of pistes to explore. With a mixture of blue, reds and black runs. Meaning something for everyone in a small area. However, well over 100 kilometres of pistes can be accessed within Ski Juwel.
