Hemsedal Ski Map

Ski resort Hemsedal is located in Hallingdal (Norway) and the second largest ski resort in Norway, behind Trysil. With just over 44 kilometres of slopes available to explore, 51 slopes and 20 lifts transport the guests, you reach heights of up to 1,450m.

Beginners can enjoy gentle slopes and excellent learning areas. With intermediates able to enjoy long, well-groomed pistes. Lastly, for the advanced, steep runs, off-piste areas, bowls, and ridgelines will keep you busy, plenty of red and black runs to enjoy.

At Hemsedel you can also expect to find a variety of activities to keep you busy through the day, including a children’s area, ski school, Snow Park red and Snow Park blue, with jumps, rails and boxes, ski cross track and an arena with gates for giant slalom with timing. There’s also plenty of accommodation in Hemsedal including cabins, apartments and large cabins as well as car parks if you just want to visit Hemsedal for the day.

Accommodation in Hemsedal is spread out rather than a single compact village. Areas including Hemsedal Skisenter base, Tottlia and Holdeskaret. Expect to find a friendly feel, popular with families by day but a relatively lively après-ski scene by evening.
