Grands Montets – Argentière Ski Map

The Argentière ski map and area is part of the Vallée de Chamonix network and is served by the Grands Montets lift system.

Argentière ski resort is a small, traditional mountain village located in the Chamonix Valley of Haute-Savoie, France, at the foot of the Mont Blanc Massif. Classic alpine charm, close proximity to Mont Blanc and easy access to some of the best skiing in the Chamonix and surrounding areas such as Megeve and Saint Gervais. Argentière is a favorite for skiers seeking authenticity combined with world-class alpine terrain.

The Grands Montets lift system takes skiers from the village base at around 1,200 metres up to a heady 3,275 metres, with an impressive vertical drop of around 2,000 metres. Although it’s impressive heights, only a few runs are available, with just under 30 kilometres in total. But it’s height means snow and off-piste runs are plentiful.

Accommodation in Argentière

Argentière village itself has preserved a traditional alpine character, chalets, small hotels, apartments, and guesthouses. However close proximity to swanky ski resort of Chamonix mean availability of boutique hotels and high class hotels are available.
