Tahko

Tahko Ski Map

The Tahko ski map and resort is Finland’s largest and most popular ski resort in the Finnish Lakeland region. Near the town of Nilsiä (part of Kuopio) in eastern Finland, it’s a all year-round destination known for its friendly atmosphere, reliable snow, and strong mix of skiing and lesiure.

There are 20 km of slopes available with 14 lifts available with heights ranging from 84m to 284m. 25–30 runs keep you busy. Most pistes are wide, groomed, and consistent, making Tahko ideal for learning, improving technique, or cruising around having fun. For the advanced, there are a few steeper runs , including Finland-style “black” pistes, but they are short compared to many other resorts around the world.

Due to the Tahko piste map’s location, snow conditions are extremely reliable. Cold, Nordic temperatures and extensive snowmaking make for a long season. Powder days are rare, but surface quality is consistently good.

Tahko is a four-season resort. Providing services all year around such as snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and ice fishing. Spa and wellness facilities, golf, hiking, and lake activities throughout the summer. Additionally, seasonal events and festivals throughout the year keep everyone entertained.
