The Chamrousse ski map and resort is a friendly, scenic, and accessible ski resort located in the Belledonne mountain range of Isère, southeastern France. Being only around 30 km from Grenoble make it easily accessible with the regional airport at Grenoble.

Chamrousse is known for its relatively sun-soaked slopes, yet historic Olympic heritage. Panoramic views over the city and Alps also provide a great attraction. Popular destination for families, beginners and intermediate skiers looking for a relaxed and affordable French ski holiday.

Sitting at altitudes of 1,400 to 2,250 metres the Chamrousse piste map is spread across two areas. Firstly, Chamrousse 1650 (Recoin), the traditional heart of the resort and providing steep pistes to explore as well as historic Olympic runs. However Chamrousse 1750 / 1700 (Roche Béranger) offers gentler slopes, ski schools and many accommodation options, family friendly and modern.

The villages of Chamrousse are well linked by lifts and pistes. Combined they form a well run and organised resort that’s easy to navigate. With close to 100 kilometres of slopes to explore too, the resort isn’t small by any means. Experts can enjoy the snow park and for trickier runs head for the Chamrousse 1650 area where you can find plenty of run reds and the odd black. Whereas beginner greens, gentle slopes and rolling blues are around the Chamrousse 1650 area.

Snowmaking infrastructure covers much of the ski area. Ensuring consistency throughout the season that typically runs from around late November / December to April. Plus its orientation gives excellent sunlight while still maintaining good natural snow.
