There’s a good variety of ski resorts in Slovenia, with the largest piste being Mariborsko Pohorje – Maribor with over 40km of piste to explore, not to mention the Kanin – Sella Nevea/Bovec ski piste reaching over 2,200m.

Kranjska Gora

Krvavec
Only 30 minutes from Ljubljana Airport. Krvavec is incredibly convenient. Skiers love it for its sunny orientation and reliable snow, excellent beginner areas and varied terrain across around 30 kilometres of piste. Enjoyable après-ski and panoramic mountain views. Due to it’s location, ideal for weekend trips or short ski breaks.
Vogel – Bohinj
Located above Lake Bohinj in Triglav National Park. Vogel offers some of the most picturesque views in Slovenia. With no artificial snowmaking in some areas, it has a more natural, wild feel. Enjoy scenic cruising runs, beautiful backdrops and a peaceful, nature-focused atmosphere.
Rogla
A family favourite but not the largest. Expect gentle, tree-lined slopes, snowmaking and fantastic value for money on accommodation and other amenities. Cross-country ski trails and snow parks. Rogla’s relaxed environment makes it perfect for first-time skiers and families.
Kanin – Sella Nevea/Bovec
Slovenia’s highest and most snow-sure ski area, connected with Italy. You can expect to find steeper slopes for advanced skiers with some great off-piste potential. Incredible views over the Adriatic Sea on clear day and a great choice for more experienced skiers.
