Les Arcs Ski Map
The Les Arcs ski map and resort is a major ski area in the French Alps, located in the Tarentaise Valley above Bourg-Saint-Maurice in Savoie. World renowned for for its large, varied terrain, modern lift system, and inclusion within one of the world’s biggest linked ski domains, Paradiski.
Slopes in the region range from over 1,000 metres up to over 3,200 metres at the top of the Aiguille Rouge peak, giving very snow-sure conditions and high alpine terrain. Linked to La Plagne by the Vanoise Express cable car forms the Paradiski area with around 425 kilometres of pistes. Which forms one of the largest interconnected ski domains in the world.
With over fifty ski lifts including gondolas, chairlifts and high-capacity and high-speed cable cars keep queues down and terrain accessible. Furthermore, easy access from Bourg-Saint-Maurice by train means train travel is widely accessible for many on the European continent, and from the UK via Eurostar.
Les Arc Villages
Les Arcs isn’t a single village but a collection of purpose-built ski resorts.
- Arc 1600 – The original village, sitting within in the forest with easy tree runs.
- Arc 1800 – Seen as the liveliest base with extensive intermediate terrain.
- Arc 1950 – Typically more traditional. Car-free village focused on comfort and ambiance.
- Arc 2000 – The highest town and typically the best snow. With easy access to advanced terrain.

Les Arc is made up of several interconnected villages, each with its own distinct character and amenities. The main village areas include Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000. Arc 1600 seen as the original village, Arc 1800 for those wanting to enjoy the après atmosphere and nightlife, Arc 1950 a more relaxed, care-free environment. Lastly Arc 2000 which provides easier access to slopes and more reliable snow.
