Avoriaz

Avoriaz Ski Map

The Avoriaz ski map and resort is a lively, high-altitude ski resort in the French Alps, located in Haute-Savoie and sitting at about 1,800 metres. Part of the huge, interconnected Portes du Soleil ski area, one of the largest linked ski domains in the world, connecting resorts in France and Switzerland.

Famous for its car-free design and modern architecture such as wooden, cliff-like buildings that blend into the surrounding mountains. Transport within the resort is by horse-drawn sleighs, snowcats, or skis, giving Avoriaz a peaceful, snow-covered atmosphere that feels very different from traditional Alpine towns.

Direct access to the Portes du Soleil provides around 600 kilometres of pistes, with fantastic snow reliability thanks to high altitude and north-facing slopes. Several snow parks for different levels including a large superpipe when conditions are right as well as boardercross and beginner freestyle zones.
