Big White Ski Map

The Big White ski map and resort is a popular Canadian ski destination known for its friendly atmosphere, reliable snow, and true ski-in/ski-out village. Located in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley around 55 kilometres from Kelowna International Airport.

Just over 100 kilometres of piste, plenty of variety between blue, red and a variety of black runs provide something for all abilities. With well over 10 ski lifts from magic carpets, gondolas, chair lifts and more take you from elevations from around 1,500 metres to over 2,000 metres. Annual snowfall provide a health average annual snowfall of approximately 7.5 metres.

For beginners, you can experience wide, gentle slopes. Intermediates can enjoy long cruising runs and for experts and advanced, steep slopes, terrain parks and big bowls.

Après ski is low-key and focused on relaxed evenings rather than nightlife. And for those who don’t enjoy alpine sports, there’s Snowshoeing, Cross-country skiing, Ice skating, Snow tubing and scenic winter walks to enjoy.

Accommodation in Big White

Big White accommodation and village is a compact, pedestrian-only alpine village. Most accommodation offers ski-in and ski-out access and the resort generally is seen as friendly, relaxed, and uncrowded. Quieter and more laid-back than large resorts like Whistler.

Predominantly accommodation focuses on apartments, condos, chalets, and town homes. With many offering kitchens or kitchenettes, with others having extra touches such as fireplaces, private or shared hot tubs and more. Luxury large hotels are limited but still can be found.
