Furano piste map and ski resort is located in central Hokkaido and one of Japan’s most scenic and well-balanced ski destinations. Known for its light, dry powder snow known as “Japow”, beautiful mountain views, and friendly local atmosphere. Furano offers an authentic Japanese ski experience with excellent terrain for all levels.

Furano offers just over 30 kilometres of slopes to explore within two connected zones, Furano Zone and Kitanomine Zone, combined together creating a diverse and enjoyable mountain. Over 10 lifts whisk you around heights from around 240 metres to over 1,000 metres.

Terrain highlights of the Furano ski resort include wide runs perfect for beginners and intermediates. Long descents including runs over 4 kilometres in length. Steeper slopes, excellent side and back country and off-piste terrain for the more advanced. Fast, efficient and modern lifts, including a gondola and ropeways get you around the resort relatively quickly.

Furano is also known for its excellent ski school, including English-speaking instructors, making it a top choice for families and first-timers.

Accommodation in Furano Japan
