Kolasportland Ski Map
The Kolasportland ski map and resort is in the Murmansk Oblast of northwest Russia. Located near the town of Kirovsk on the Kola Peninsula in the Khibiny Mountains.
Although the Kolasportland piste map below leaves much to the imagination, there are around 30km slopes available to explore with multiple lifts. Elevations only reach just over 850m, but that’s not an issue given the location of Kolasportland.
Infrastructure is limited, with primarily T-Bar/Button lifts, with 1 gondola. However, thanks to the cold Artic climate the season normally runs from around mid-November through to May and sometimes even June. Naturally, this depends on conditions.
Additionally, because of its northern location, skiers at Kolasportland can experience polar night conditions in winter. Meaning daylight is very short, or extended daylight in late spring. Providing unique skiing conditions. However during the polar night, the slopes are often illuminated.
For experts, or the more advanced there’s a freestyle stadium, jumps and a freestyle stadium for slalom skiers.
