Sinaia Ski Map
The Sinaia ski map and resort is a historic mountain resort in Prahova Valley, Romania. Set high in the Bucegi Mountains. Because its slopes start at altitudes over 2,000 m, it often has one of the longest ski seasons in Romania. This season can run from December (sometimes late November) into early spring or even May on higher terrain.
A relatively large resort, Sinaia piste map covers nearing 25km of slope to explore. Resembling a European alpine resort by ski map – as you can see below, The resort also has great variety of blue, red and black runs to suit all abilities.
Furthermore, Sinaia’s ski area is served by multiple lifts. Infrastructure including Cable cars and gondolas to connect the resort base up to Cota 1400 and then up further to Cota 2000. Additional Chairlifts and teleski lines are dotted around for convenience.
Awkwardly however, even though the lift system provides easy access to the Sinaia high-altitude, different operators run some installations. Therefore there isn’t always a single ski pass that covers every lift.
One of Sinaia’s biggest draws is that not from skiing. You’re in a mountain town with culture and history. The nearby Peleș Castle is worth a visit.
