The Poland ski resorts have quite a lot to offer with over 500km of slopes to explore and over 700 ski lifts to escort you around the Polish ski pistes. One of the best resorts is Szczyrk Mountain Resort with almost 40km of slopes on offer, and Kasprowy Wierch takes you to heights of almost 2,000m.

In Polish ski resorts you’ll be able to find many good quality, short runs, with gentle terrain. Ideal for beginners, learners and those looking to practise their skills. Additionally, good ski schools with many English speaking teachers, dedicated kid zones and affordable prices make for a great value alternative for families.

Additionally, frequent flights to larger cities make for easy access. Cities such as Kraków, Katowice, and Wrocław.

  • Mostly located in the Carpathians (south) and Sudetes (south-west).
  • Resorts are generally low to mid-altitude, with shorter runs and compact ski areas.
  • Winters can be variable. With most ski resorts in Poland relying heavily on snowmaking to ensure reliable seasons (typically lasting December–March).
  • The Atmosphere is a great mixture of local, relaxed, and affordable. Resorts are lively in the evenings but not luxury-focused.
  • Synonymous for fantastic value. Lift passes, lessons, food, and accommodation are all much cheaper than in the Alps. Prices are more comparable to that of Bulgaria
